Hermes is a brand well known for its equestrian roots, and the reputation has been founded and established over the course of many years. During the brand’s existence, it has proven that it can handle the synthesis and release of fragrances exceptionally well, and this is evidenced by hits such as Terre d’Hermes and Equipage. However, there is a fragrance in the Hermessence collection, which is called Cardamusc, and it features both of the notes mentioned in the name. This deceptively simple composition is an amber spicy blend with a cardamom note whose quality is like no other. The fresh spiciness of the fragrance eventually meets a bed of musk that is equally clean and serene.
