Last November, Tennis superstar and 22 Grand Slam winner Rafael Nadal has ventured into the world of fragrances with a new perfume launch. Nadal partnering with his wife Maria Francisca Perello have teamed up with French perfumer Henry Jacques for a duo of scents under the title “In All Intimacy.” Inspired by the sparkling blue waters of his native Mallorca, Nadal wanted the scent to resemble the freshness of the Mediterranean. One scent is designed to be worn while playing tennis and feature bright, energetic notes that come together with coriander, lemon and the Spanish artemisia plant complemented by cedarwood and leather. The other is a more subdued scent, focusing on the floral and subtle zing of citrus. Perello’s fragrance on the other hand, is softer and has nots of violet and orange blossom, highlighted with jasmine and bergamot, while also enhanced by sandalwood and white musk.
Now the tennis superstar is back at with the French perfumer with a trio of solid fragrances. With a price tag of $41,900 USD, the collaboration is already striking in just cost alone. But after you get past the big ticket number, you’ll find a trio of solid scents including Rafael Nadal No. 1, Rafael Nadal No. 2 and Maria Perello. The lineup of scents features notes of orange blossom, thyme, jasmine, lavender, bergamot and citrus.
Completing the scents is Henry Jacques’ signature 5-grade titanium “Clic-Clac” case with a curved tennis ball-yellow strip. The limited edition collection features only 120 units.
These fragrances are sold at the Henry Jacques boutique in Beverly Hills.
