Indie brand DS & Durga has launched Mahogany Kora, a new limited edition unisex fragrance created in collaboration with designer and model Armando Cabral.
Fragrant calabash of West Africa speaking stories of trans-Sahara movement from the illustrious empire of Mali. The kora is the instrument used to sing the voluminous histories of many tribes (like the Mandinka). It’s sound is a symbol. So too can be its aroma. The scent captures the rich history of West Africa.
Mahogany Kora openss up with rich amber mahogany draped in patchouli, papyrus, and vanilla.
Additional notes include Atlas cedar, baguitchi hibiscus, calabash nutmeg, orange blossom and cana de cajeu (aka cashew rum).
Mahogany Kora is available in 10 and 50 ml Eau de Parfum.
