Parisian niche house Montale has released Oud Island. Montale’s founder, Pierre Montale, used to create custom fragrances for the royal family in Saudi Arabia, but when he finally returned to Paris, he wanted to create a scent that encompassed the wonder and beauty of the region for the Western world. The result is the Oud Island eau de parfum, with notes of vanilla, amber and labdanum.
The adventure begins with a concoction of citrus from Italy. Sicilian Tangerine, Sicilian Bergamot, and Italian Lemon provide a fresh spark of energy that encompasses the joy you feel when you go somewhere new and exciting.
The heart unveils the mysteries yet to be discovered with intoxicating black leather paired with Nepalese Oud. Warm sandalwood leaves a sensual trail while tiare flower and tuberose adds an exotic floral depth.
The base embodies the joy of contentment with warm vanilla hues painted with resinous labdanum. Dry amber flirts with tobacco and musk to round out the journey.

Heart note – Nepalese Oud, Black Leather, Solar Tiare Flowers, Indian Tuberose, and Warm Sandalwood
Base note – Tobacco, Musks, Dry Amber, Warm Vanilla, and Labdanum.
The bottle comes in a matte black with gold adornments. The eau de parfum comes in a 100ml size.
