Hello DUA team and DUA fragrance lovers! I have so many ideas for inspirations, but there are two that I am absolutely yearning for. And I beg you to bring them justice!
First up is Allure Eau de Parfum by Chanel. It is such a lovely peach/vanilla/floral/amber scent. It's beautiful and it may seem basic to many, but I find it so comforting as well as elegant. I would so love to see this done. I believe it has lost its sillage and staying power over the years, but I haven't checked out a batch from the last couple of years to see if it has improved. Regardless, I want this scent but with that DUA power/love within it.
Next up is the original Addict by Dior. I can't describe how intoxicating this is. It is so gorgeous. It's boozy, woody, powdery...ugh it's quite something! The sandalwood and vanilla in there are to die for. Now you have to make sure you dupe the original, it's not listed on Fragrantica but on the back of the box of the original, oakmoss is listed in the ingredients. As much as I fear parting with it but also this shows my faith in you, I would send you my vintage bottle and box just so that I could have the availability again and could get as many bottles as I want and spray with total abandon. I would like to end this with saying I am just so grateful for you folks. You have made me so happy. I hate when a fragrance I absolutely love and feels right for my personality, is gone within a few hours or pulled from shelves so the availability isn't there anymore. So many fragrances I thought I'd have to sadly say goodbye to, and you've completely fixed that time and time again. I can't get over your inspiration of Dior Homme Eau, it's so spot on and has cleared some of my anxiety about not being able to smell it anymore. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
