Our Poseidon’s Cologne fragrance became an instant hit as many were looking for the most accurate interpretation of Aventus Cologne on the market. Subsequently, our resurrection of the vintage formulation of Bleu de Chanel Eau de Toilette inspiration took many on a trip down memory lane. With the two fragrances having so many notes in common, it was just a matter of time before we began the process of hybridization of these inspirations. Poseidon’s Bleu de Cologne is an inspired hybrid of our versions of Creed Aventus Cologne and Chanel Bleu de Chanel (EDT Vintage Formulation), and we couldn’t be more satisfied with the outcome. A fruity opening of green apple and pineapple is made tart by a refreshing grapefruit note. A warm sweetness of tonka bean and benzoin occupies the base, and subtle incense binds all of the notes together for a mysterious effect. As it turns out, birch and incense work together in perfect harmony, and Poseidon’s Bleu de Cologne is sure to become our next hit as far as inspired hybrids go!
