For this reason, the sandalwood used in this addictive composition can only come from Mysore, India. Known for its warm, slightly powdery, and creamy smell, sandalwood from Mysore is among the most exquisite and is an ingredient that can completely transform the fragrance in which it’s used. In our inspired expression of Creed’s Original Santal, we can smell the creamy wood in its pairing with vanilla and benzoin, which add sweetness in the most delightful way. Ginger and lavender add a richness that is uncompromising in quality and complex in smell.
