Royal Chariot Of Bois Oudh
Hybrid: Inspired by Layton by Parfums de Marly & Oud Wood by Tom Ford
Layton is the best selling fragrance by Parfums de Marly. Since its release in 2016, it has topped the charts, and no other offering has usurped its position at the top. Delina is a close second when considering feminine offerings from the brand, but the reputation of Layton is hard to beat. There happens to be another fragrance from 2007 that shares many notes in common with Layton. This fragrance is none other than Oud Wood, and the common notes are cardamom, vanilla, pepper, and sandalwood! After taking notice to this fact, we knew a hybrid would eventually be in the works. Fragrances like Layton Exclusif have toyed around with the DNA of Layton to express what the iconic perfume would smell like with a note of oud, but why not combine the original Layton with the best oud that the industry has to offer? This is what we sought to accomplish when combining our version of Layton with our version of Oud Wood, and our hybrid is ultimately called Royal Chariot of Bois Oudh! The familiar apple and vanilla aroma complements the spiciness of cardamom and pepper. Tonka and sandalwood creates a smooth sweetness in the base to create continuity in the blend. Amber is the perfect accord for a warm finish, and Royal Chariot of Bois Oudh is a perfect hybrid to start the year off on the right foot! Don’t miss your chance to own this hybrid while supplies are available!
