Hybrid: Andy Warhol by Bond No 9 & By The Fireplace by Maison Martin Margiela
While By the Fireplace by Maison Martin Margiela is still in production, Andy Warhol by Bond no.9 has been discontinued for quite some time now. The latter fragrance has become highly inaccessible, and those who are in possession of a bottle are certainly treasuring their acquisition. Both of these fragrances are unique in the sense that one combines plum with agarwood and the other combines chestnut and vanilla with resins. The sweet and balsamic contrast of each makes them perfect companions, and when we created a hybrid of the two, we fell in love with the juicy plum opening topped with chestnut shavings, all of which is resting on a bed of vanilla beans. The woodsy, smoky, and sweet qualities of this hybrid make it an instant favorite for us! In the autumn and winter months, we seek a denser alternative to our citrus hits, and Iconic Plums by the Fire certainly hits the spot! This fragrance is altogether warm, fruity, smoky, complex, and seductive! This unisex composition is exactly the comfort and coziness that you need when the temperature starts to drop and the mortality of your lighter perfumes gets put to the test. Iconic Plums by the Fire is the olfactory excitement you need to keep you snug and secure this season!
