Mugler has always been a trendsetter in the designer fragrance industry. With hits like A*Men and Alien, it’s no surprise that the brand is as popular as it is. Two of our favorites are Pure Havane and Ultra Zest. While the former has decadent notes of vanilla, honey, and tobacco, the latter is citrus dominant with notes of blood orange, tangerine, and mint. Combining the inspirations of these two proved to be a bit of a challenge, but it’s nothing that our IFRA-certified chemists couldn’t handle. Ginger and mint combine for a refreshing introduction while cinnamon and black pepper spice things up for a darker twist to a summer-oriented fragrance. Base notes of tonka bean, styrax, labdanum, and vanilla create an amber tone that is as deep as it is sensual. The combination of these two fragrances is everything we could have hoped for, and we call this recent inspired expression Zest in Havana. Zest in Havana is an inspired hybrid of our versions of Mugler A*Men Pure Havane and Mugler A*Men Ultra Zest, and if you are a fan of either one of the previously mentioned originals, this one is a must try! The amber is made fresh by orange citrus tones, and the ginger and mint are made deeper and more intriguing by touches of cinnamon and vanilla. Zest in Havana is the brightest day you can imagine in the city of Havana. It is equivalent to smoking a fine cigar poolside in Havana while enjoying a citrus cocktail and a decadent dessert drenched in honey. This is an inspired hybrid you don’t want to miss!
