Two Parfums de Marly fragrances that have a lot in common are Layton and Carlisle. While it may not seem like it’s the case, both of these fragrances contain spices, apple, vanilla, and patchouli. For this reason, creating a hybrid of the two was rather simple, and it also serves to show us how amazingly well these two fragrances perform and smell in one another’s company! The brightness of the apple gives a fruity sweetness while the interplay of spices, containing nutmeg and cardamom, is enchanting and beguiling. Tonka bean and vanilla secure the sweetness in the base while a bouquet of rose, and jasmine opens up the heart to increase the volatility and diffusive charm of the perfume! Our hybrid is called Cumbria’s Royal Chariot, and you will soon discover how we have taken the best of both worlds to create this amazing new olfactory experience!
