Arabian Breed
Inspiration: Shagya by Parfums de Marly
While classics from Parfums de Marly that are often spoken about include hits like Pegasus, Layton, Kalan, and Carlisle, there is one fragrance that is frequently overlooked. Shagya accompanied the brand at its inception in 2009, and it is still praised and revered by ardent fans of the fragrant empire! With a name that pays tribute to a horse breed that was developed during the Austro-Hungarian Empire during the 19th century, Shagya laid the foundation for the brand and has paved the brand’s path to success in its heyday. Arabian Breed is our inspired expression of this enigmatic perfume, and we made sure to use the same mysterious blend of agarwood, musk, papyrus, and geranium to create the heart and base of this provocative perfume. Fleeting bergamot and red berries are the perfect momentary distraction before oud completely overtakes the composition and shows us what a true oriental fragrance is all about! With rumors of a possible discontinuation of the original in circulation, we knew we couldn’t wait much longer to release our version of this classic from Parfum de Marly! Your horse is waiting for you to saddle up! Where will your journey take you?
