Concept Series: Inspiration: Aventus by Creed (Added notes of black coffee and Colombian coffee beans tincture.)

Creed Aventus is beyond the point of needing an introduction. Its combination of pineapple and birch has been smelled by virtually everyone who has embarked on a journey into the world of niche fragrances. In the past, we have tinkered around with adding ambroxan crystals to our inspiration of Creed Aventus, and the result was nothing short of spectacular. This time around, we traverse down a darker path by adding notes of black coffee and Colombian coffee beans tincture. This duality of notes adds dimension to the iconic fruity chypré perfume while allowing its diverse fan base to explore a different side of the familiar DNA. A juicy and ripe pineapple opening is met with darker tones of black coffee. The vanilla combines with the Colombian coffee beans tincture to create a vanilla flavored coffee accord that is absolutely delicious. Oakmoss and ambergris enter the stage for their usual conclusion, and the entire production, from start to finish, is something we like to call Poseidon’s Café!
