Xerjoff’s Pikovaya Dama is the olfactory expression of the eponymously titled opera, whose name translates to “Queen of Spades” in English. Very much like the opera, the fragrance unfolds in three acts. However, the melody is diversified with an oriental twist! Italian perfumery fuses with French perfumery for this most recent inspired hybrid that melds our inspiration of Xerjoff’s Pikovaya Dama with Maison Francis Kurkdjian’s Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait. The rose of our successful fragrance Queen of Spades combines with the natural jasmine from our Casino Royale expression. A touch of almond from Morocco distinguishes the Baccarat Rouge 540 Extrait inspiration elements for a sweet balsamic aroma with nuances of cocoa and caramel. The roasted appeal of the heart travels onwards towards the third act where a base of cedar, musk, and ambergris resonate at a lower yet equally appealing frequency. The opera is finished, and the crowd delivers a standing ovation.
