Throwback Cologne
Inspiration: Eau des Délices by Le Jardin Retrouve
”The Garden of Delights” is the translation of the name of this recent focus of ours. Eau des Délices is a 1982 release by the French brand Le Jardin Retrouvé. With a focus on citrus, this composition features all of our favorite effervescent citrus notes for a medley of fruits that is brighter than we can ever imagine. In the top rest ingredients like lemon, bergamot, orange, tangerine, lemon verbena, and petit grain. The overabundance of citrus is mesmerizing and inviting. The heart is predominantly occupied by lavender and clary sage, both of which create the aromatic appeal of the composition to also evoke some class and elegance. The green trifecta in the base is comprised of vetiver, oakmoss, and patchouli. This appropriately green accord conjures up memories of long-lasting perfumes from decades past. The timelessness of this composition is precisely what motivated us to recreate it, and our version is called Throwback Cologne. The 1980’s were a better and more stress-free time for most, and having a remnant from the decade that is still as bold today as it was back then is something we all need in our lives. Make sure to secure a bottle of Throwback Cologne while supplies are still in stock!
