Inspired by Xerjoff Join The Club 400 (Selfridges & Co. Exclusive).
At 400 Oxford Street in London boldly resides the grand architecture that has come to be known as Selfridges & Co. A walk inside will immediately reveal the reason why it’s often voted as one of the top ten luxury shops in the city. Luxury brands galore and price tags bearing many zeros are what you’ll come to find after browsing the countless selections of both clothes and fragrances. Xerjoff’s 400 fits right in when you take a moment to admire the gorgeous, Italian aesthetics of both the bottle and the aroma. When we visited London earlier this year, this fragrance blipped on our radar and for good reason. Named after the address of the shop that has given the fragrance its exclusivity, this eau de parfum presents us with a gorgeous orange fruit introduction coupled with vanilla convincing you that the two notes make the perfect pair. Honey adds to the sweetness by suffusing the composition with its saccharine ways. Discreet spice rounds off the fragrance while providing it with novelty and separation from the mundane. Exhilarated is how we felt when we first tried this fragrance, and that has certainly left its mark on our interpretation of this masterful work by Xerjoff. If either you don’t live in London or $300 seems like a lot to pay for this fragrance, we will be happy to ship you a bottle of Xhilaration for a near-identical experience. Join our club!
