I am so happy to bring this one out again this fall. Christmas Gourmand is warm cognac and sugared red berries. It isn't overly boozy but you can pick up on the cognac note. This is great for the fall/winter season.

Right away, the graham cracker is noticeable. Crumbling, kissed with honey, and very authentic with a slightly woody feeling, it paints the encroaching story in a vivid autumnal brown hue, such as something right out of a Kinkade. Tendrils of smoldering oak seep into your flannel, giving the smoky old-world scent of the outdoors that embodies both heart and home with a slight hint of maple sap. Take note; this is not maple syrup, but rather the resinous, woody maple scent that exudes from a tree that has been tapped, long before it is boiled down into its ambery elixir of morning bliss. Charred marshmallow is the most present scent in Camp du Felicite. Thankfully, it’s not one that you overcooked and turned into a mini fireball that beckons you to launch it from your stick into the great dark yonder. It’s perfectly browned with a crispy skin while the gooey center oozes with the joy of the first winter snow. The cacao is vaguely present, but sadly, it doesn’t smell like the Hershey’s that are used in s’mores. This is more of a powdery, warm cacao with a slight bitter edge. It doesn’t touch on the smooth waxy chocolate that would be more reminiscent of the inspiration, but it still fits into the scent nicely. In the deep drydown, there is a faint booziness. I honestly didn’t know it was a coffee spirit until I read the notes, but afterwards, I could pick it up and identify it. It melds into the smoked oak and pillowy vanilla from the marshmallow to create a believable camping recollection in a bottle. Camp du Felicite won’t last as long as the fireside memories, but it will give you whiffs of gourmand goodness throughout the span of 9-10 hours. For the first few hours, the scent will project potently and fill a room before it gradually decreases in strength to become a skin scent around hour 6-7.
The best way that I can describe the opening magic of A Christmas Gourmand is buttery caramel simmering in warmed cognac. The spirit retains hints of raisin with a dry, almost peppery woodiness from an aged oaken barrel lurking underneath with swirls of silky caramel drizzle made with fresh butter. The heart summons a creamy almond accord with rich, milky notes. It doesn’t feel quite foamed, but it has a warm airiness about it. I guess the best way to describe it is when you pour warmed milk into a cup and it gets a few air bubbles in it, then that smell wafts to your nose. The base retains much of the vanilla creaminess and almond with a slight hint of spice and cognac, but it rests upon roasted tonka and what I feel is a hot cocoa accord, slightly dusty with a warm milk sensation, sprinkled with bits of toasted holiday spices. As with most Dua gourmands, A Christmas Gourmand sings its holiday hymns for hours on end, lasting well into the night when the lights sparkle with merriment and glee. In other words, you are looking at a cheerful melody that will last around 12 hours with strong projection for the first three.

Smells soooo good I bought a BUB. I smell buttery cinnamon with all sorts of sweets mixed in. The MAGIC happens on the dry down. I don’t know what that smell is but I can’t get enough. I’ve never smelled anything like it .its sweet and sort of a fruity smell but does not smell like any fruit I’ve ever smelled lol. That’s the best way I can describe it. Just buy it. You will see. It’s still cool enough out to wear it.
Yummy! I am not gonna lie when I first got it I was so disappointed, like what did I just purchased smh. But I didn’t lose hope so I put it away for a week and when I came back it’s start to smell different, so I left it alone for a month , and started to use it end of December and when I tell you this perfume got me sniffing myself for the whole day, it’s yummy with a little booze, cozy and it’s perfect for winter , and if you have the dua angel share dupe to mix it with babyyyyyy it’s heaven on earth, you can use it by it self or with any vanilla , milky creamy perfume. I will buy again if dua keep it around for sure.

This is so delicious! Super cozy, comforting, and decadent. Sitting by the Christmas tree with a cozy fire, crackling nearby, sipping a Cup of hot cocoa, with a dollop of cognac to warm the blood. Christmas treats are baking in the kitchen, and the smells of almond sugary sweet cookies is waifing out, perfuming the air. All is right with the world, even if only for this moment. Those are the feelings this particular fragrance conjures up for me, personally. If you have the chance, absolutely get your hands on it, it's beautifully done, nostalgic feel!

An excellent all around Gourmand. Not just for Christmas. This is quite a sweet treat. It does lighten up later on. A good Christmas present when they get back in stock. They are out of stock right now. This and Cola Cream Dream are really good if you combine them together. Mostly for the Cola notes added .

This smells like the original Angel formula on me, without the heavy patchouli of Angel, and I am THRILLED! It’s chocolate smoky boozy orange-y and nutty. Literally Christmas in a bottle. It’s everything I hoped it would be and more. Really glad I bought two bottles. This one is a gem!!!!!
Super yummy! I was nervous to blind buy but Dua did their thing! It’s a boozy, creamy, laconic scent in the opening. You get the berries mixed in but they do not dominate. The chocolate comes in during the mid and its not like a cocoa powder mixed in. I can only imagine how good this will be in a few months, but it is wearable and delicious out the gate
Balsamic sweet cognac intensified by the boozy praline note with a fizzy citrusy nuance and a deep berry element so all these produce a fruity decadent sweet aroma in the opening and mid phase that is very unique and with a chocolatey almondy scent like gourmand liqueur chocolates. In fact it reminds me of Le Monde Gourmand Meringue Magique with the praline and whipped cream, but with fizzy citrus and juicy berries instead of orange. That's for the opening mainly. The chocolate milk with the nutty almond are a milky play doh effect, very beautiful and feminine even in the drydown and later on. The cinnamon spice is more present in the drydown and later drydown being a warmer peppery effect, not in the opening or mid phase for me. The chocolatey milky almond with the boozy praline and with the sugared citrusy berries remain in the drydown still giving chocolates with berry liqueur sauce. The berries, amberwood, vanilla cream, brown sugar and the almondy tonka along with the boozy praline and cognac give a Police Potion Arsenic vibe at the later drydown like a balsamic tobacco myrrh berry scent. Potion Arsenic is very balsamic and the tonka, deep tobacco leaf note, the myrrh and cinnamon with the coconut produce a berry-like grape scent, but it has a green nuance that this ones doesn't have. They're still very similar. Perhaps the cognac gives that tobacco-like impression in this. They both give subtle Black Opium vibes but with intense balsamic resinous elements and an almond feel. Had to revise my review because of this. So now I love it even more since Potion Arsenic is one of my favorite perfumes and it's so unique.
