Delivered 5/18/2026. Everything I'm saying here I said in the video! This is amazing! A fantastic alternative to SoCal by Hollister, one of the most iconic scents of all time, since it was discontinued! I was hit with the scent before I even took it out of the black pouch Cali Dude comes in. I compared both without spraying my SoCal and man, Dua did an amazing job with this! I will not be using what's left of my SoCal until they bring it back. For now, its Cali Dude!

If you are looking for the exact dupe of Hollister SoCal, this is EXACTLY it. I legitimately came back here to buy another bottle because it IMMEDIATELY brought me back. Unfortunately it is sold out once again so I figured I'd share my experience in the meantime. I guess if my review doesn't convince you, the fact that it's constantly sold out should.

Dua has absolutely nailed this iconic scent. I have literally worn SoCal for 10 plus years and was devastated it was discontinued. I went on a resell site and way overpaid just to get my scent back, that is until Dua released Calidude! My first order was only 1 bottle to test it side by side and now that it’s back in stock I just ordered 3 more!
Absolutely nailed it!! I’m so happy with it. I will purchase it every time it is restocked. I was heartbroken when SoCal was discontinued as I wore it for 15 years! It last all day and is identical to SoCal. Keep restocking this please!!!!
Great match for Hco SoCal! This has a thicker aura than the OG. It lasts a long time and has a strong presence. Early 2000s in a bottle.
I get a blueberry note on very cold days that isn’t in the original. The fragrance has mellowed out in a good way about 2 months after purchasing it. I think it’s a bit thick and could be watered down or reduced to make it spray better.
I keep checking for a restock. This is an excellent signature fragrance. It’s too bad Hco discontinued SoCal, end of an era… i guess that means it’s solidified as a millennial fragrance now. Glad to see dua bring it back.
Dua needs to revive Ruehl signature next, or even Abercrombie batch 46.
110% the dupe of so cal! I laughed when I sprayed it in shock at how similar they smell and smelled it it took me back a few years to when I could actually buy the 110$ 3.4oz bottle. Dua brand yall some sly ones for this!
This stuff is fire I’m buying a second one because they sell out fast so be quick with it and trust! This smell brings back so many memories almost like time traveling fr fr haha they did a great job getting it right props to DUA may they never stop making this
This is a very good fragrance, and as you can see, the bottle has a great atomizer. It is very close to Hollister SoCal, however, unlike everybody else, I don’t see it as an exact match. I still have a tiny amount of juice left in my OG bottle from 2007, and there is still a distinct difference between the two. It is better than the watered down crap Hollister put out after the reformulation, though, and it is a worthy stand-in that I will gladly wear. I hate to be the guy that breaks up the 5 star parade, but to my nose, it’s only about an 80%-85% match, as opposed to the dead-on clone that others see it as. I would give 4.5 stars if I could, because it is still a great fragrance, and it’s closer than anything else out there. But based on the reviews, I was expecting it to be virtually identical. A solid job from Dua, nonetheless, and I’m happy to have it!
Ive worn hollister so cal since 2009. Im 31 years old. I was devastated when they discontinued it. Ive tried 3 other "clone" fragrances and none of them were it.
This one is spot on. It smells just like hollister. Maybe even a little stronger. Please keep this in stock. I will be a lifelong customer!
Smells just like SoCal and the price is awesome. I ordered this and the Dua Jake after waiting a couple weeks for them to restock and I’m pretty sure this one sold out again the same day. I think it’s evidence that it’s good and people that know about it are waiting to get some whenever its available.
Woody and Tropical at the same time. I've never smelled the og but if it smells anything like this, it's a great smelling fragrance. This captures that youthful retro feel. Slightly tart pineapple with a sweet woody backbone. The coconut blooms but doesn't dominate the fragrance. It's well blended woody pina colada-esque.
is this EVER going to be restocked? i mean i thought the whole cool thing was the fact that i could buy this one and not have to pay $300 from scalpers for the original, but i keep checking this site everyday and its been out of stock for almost 2 months straight, what are you guys doing?
Purchased this one for my son, and he’s raved its sn exact match to his favorite (discontinued) store brand. I compared as well. Its scary close!

It smells very very close to the original. Probably the closest one I've ever smelled. It's still got a tad bit of something the original didn't have, not sure what it is, but it's still very close! It lasts alot longer than the original, I know that! It's more concentrated, so less can go a long way which is good!
Forgot what this was like. Lives up to the hype. Bought for my son, but then kept wanting to spray it just to smell it. The guys are not lying, smells amazing! Reminds me of when I worked at Hollister many years ago as a teenager.
Close to the discontinued SoCal cologne Hollister had. The melon is a nice twist and while it doesn’t have the pine or spice elements, it performs 3x better & is a perfect sweet/tropical fragrance for those warm, sunny days.
