While we love creating original fragrances as well as creating inspired expressions of expensive niche fragrances, one of our biggest pleasures is resurrecting discontinued and vintage fragrances. One such fragrance is Muguet by Guerlain, and this is regarded as the Holy Grail lily of the valley perfume. With its release dating back to 1908, Guerlain had composed a masterpiece over a century ago. This combination of freesia, rose, iris, ylang-ylang, and muguet is divine and for the ultimate lover of floral perfumes. After searching for what seemed to be an eternity for a vintage bottle of this elusive fragrance, we finally managed to do so, and thus, the recreation process began! This bouquet of floral notes is absolutely mesmerizing, and we couldn’t be more satisfied with the result! Fans of the original will fall in love with our inspired expression, and it has become our new addiction! The iris is smooth, the rose is sensual, and the lily of the valley is spellbinding! So like I said in the video this is straight up lily-of-the-valley. It's beautiful. And when I first smelled this, I was reminded of my grandma. She must have had a lily-of-the-valley perfume! The only drawback is that this one doesn't last as long as I'd like. I'm going to let this macerate a bit and see what happens. Other than that, Dua has knocked it out of the park yet again!
I've smelled many lily-of-the-valley perfumes, including Dior Dirorissimo , the new Guerlain Muguet， Penhaligon's Lily of the Valley, Le Galion Lily Of The Valley , and Oriza L.Legrand Muguet Fleuri... This is by far the most beautiful lily-of-the-valley fragrance I've ever encountered.And it lasts a really long time—I absolutely love it!
What a beautiful lily of the valley fragrance! I’ve never smelled the original, but I used to grow lily of the valley and have used many LOTV scented soaps. This is so realistic! I just received it today, meaning it hasn’t sat and aged. But it is a strong performer, I get big whiffs from just two sprays on the back of my hand. Wow! Can’t wait for spring to rock this, and see what it’s like once it has aged. But it’s absolutely amazing as of already!
Ever since I was a little girl, I've loved the scent of lily of the valley. The first cologne my mom let me wear was Coty's Muguet de Bois, so that scent has special memories for me. Unfortunately, it's no longer made. The best option for muguet lovers is Guerlain's, obviously. It's released only in spring. The problem is.....well, the price will take your breath away. This year, it's over $800 on the website. A good chunk of that is for the numbered, limited release bottle, which is admittedly very pretty. I don't know about you, but I don't need any more fancy bottles. I JUST NEED THE JUICE INSIDE!! Dua pulled through again for me. I got the grown up version of a nostalgic childhood favorite, and didn't have to worry about balancing my checkbook. Thank you, Mahsam!!
