Dreamy Tuberose

Omgness, what a beautiful blind buy…. Give me a hundred more. One sniff and I could not stop sniffing. Green and floral, this one is blended to perfection. I did expect this to be so artfully blended, where apparently conflicting notes are so well blended without separately fighting for attention. Get it!

I am very impressed with this one. I did not know what to expect, but this is a very soft green, floral perfume. The juice is red which another surprise. I can’t wait to test it for a longer period of time. If you like well blended tones that don’t compete for attention, this is for you!

Dreamy Tuberose

Fantastic I purchased Dreamy Tuberose and Smooth Tuberose (version of BDK Tubereuse Imperiale), and I also have Carnal Desire (DUA's version of Frederic Malle Carnal Flower, which is an indolic green and coconutty-smutty version of tuberose – REALLY GOOD). I now have samples of all three OG's and the DUA versions are all very close and well done. TF Tubereuse Nue is too much in the world of my favorite tuberose fragrance, Fracas, to justify a bottle at TF prices (and Fracas is better), so I'm enjoying my DUA Dreamy Tuberose version because of the Island Gardenia if Island Gardenia were an expensive perfume vibe, even though there's supposedly no gardenia in the TF or DUA version. Dreamy Tuberose is extremely creamy/almost lactonic – whereas Smooth Tuberose is more in the vein of old-school Dior Poison with incense, patchouli and cypress. If I had to choose I'd choose Smooth Tuberose over Dreamy Tuberose for all the reasons I've already said. They're very different but both are excellent.
