It's back! After what seemed like a 3-year hiatus, Essence of Patchouli is back to being available. I had the original Dua plastic-capped version from around 2019 and I fell in love with it. I've never smelled the TF original, but from everything I've read and heard, this Dua is very, very close. It performs nicely. It lasts and lasts on skin. Leans masculine in my opinion, but anyone could wear it. I will be buying a bottle when mine runs out!

One of my favorites I don't own TF version so this not a comparison. When I first got this it had no dept and was very weak. I was not impressed. But then about 2 months pass and I decided to try it again and wow the patchouli was so beautiful and had a floral quality that was very powerful. I get a lot of compliments with this gem. I will definitely buy again.

Close, but the dry-down smoke/incense note is different... La Labo makes great fragrances. I was a little concerned when I ordered this that it wouldn't have the same nuance that the original has. I was pleasantly surprised, it nearly does have the same effect. My one negative comment would be that the smoke / incense note is different than the original. Obviously, there are going to be some differences between the original and a clone. So, my expectations might be unrealistically high. However, upon dry-down, the smoke in Patchouli 24 is classy with a touch of vanilla. The Dua version smells "greener" and is missing that extra vanilla note. Overall, if I had never smelled the Le Labo version side-by-side, I probably wouldn't know there was a difference.

Outstanding Fragrance I have always loved the earthy smell of Patchouli However most of the Patchouli fragrances I have tried somehow miss the mark. Not the case with this one because this frag is beautiful and better than the original from Tom Ford. I'm so glad I picked this one up, it will always be in my collection.

Classy Juice Whoa! This stuff is wonderful. A really classy patch fragrance, masculine and dark. The feeling I got from it immediately was that this one is about sillage, a light spray will do and keep you enveloped in a nice aura. I love it!
