Fougere is a word that means fern, and while the genre has evolved quite a bit throughout the decades, there have not been too many expressions that combine oud with the composition! An alluring fusion of earthy and green elements in this scent creates the impression of strolling through a dense forest. Basil oil and English lavender tincture dance like a soft breeze, while bergamot tincture emits a bright light like the sun. A little warmth is added to the mixture by cinnamon tincture, like a warm blanket on a cool day. While vetiver and cedar wood serve as the scent's grounding elements like the roots of a tree, geranium balances the rich notes of Madagascar vanilla tincture and Hungarian patchouli tincture like a delicate flower. The mysterious voyage is concluded with rosewood and oak, while Laotian oud oil gives this earthy and green aroma a sense of mystery. Masterpiece smells like YSL Rive Gauche X 50 pouring from the heavens in an ethereal stream of edible barbershop accords. Blown away price on this and it's a metal plaque yall!! Seriously smells like a waterfall of that realm of notes but u r under it smelling the mist.

Man, let me tell you. This is immediately vaulted to my favorite barbershop fougere. Sartorial, houbigant, russian leather...they dont compare. The wheel hasn't been reinvented, it's just been made better. This is now in pre-vault at $33. That's literally stealing it from Dua. This had the quality of $350 exclusive Creed fragrance.
Please hurry and get this one back on the shelves!! Dua has sold me on its fougere/old barbershop fragrances. Combine them with a veery faint smell of cigarettes, and it's like having my dad back again. He left us way, way too young. I'll keep watching for this one.
Absolutely a masterpiece. One of the best and most natural barbershop shaving cream fragance with a nuance of anise seed or more like anise little pink round hard candies with a green oud coming and going back and forth. If you love barbershop smells and want a more artistic take and a high level of quality definitely buy this one when vault opens.
Might be my favorite fougere I realized that I loved fougere fragrances recently when I bought B-612. This one combines the traditional fougere notes with Oud, and in my opinion the blend is superb. It's spicy, fresh, and slightly funky to give it a well rounded scent you can lose yourself in until you have company. Great job on this formulation, I'll definitely be back for the re-up.
Elevated Classic While I don’t find it groundbreaking in originality, where this departs from other fougeres is in its extremely high quality ingredients. It smells luxurious and natural. The cinnamon twist is where this takes a small step away from what you think you know, and deftly sidesteps the familiar. It was a brilliant addition, adding both warmth and depth. Worth every penny. I’ll be purchasing a backup bottle of this one.
