So interesting. U get the abuse / licorice scent but it resolved into a yummy frosting scent pretty fast. I really like it!

I was looking for a perfume for my daughter with a hint of vanilla for Christmas. I found this online and read the reviews which were fabulous! I decided to order it and I am very pleased how quickly it was delivered. The packaging was beautiful! She absolutely loves it! So do i! We will definitely be ordering again.
It's unique. It's beautiful. It's confusing. I'll be the first to tell you, I love fragrances and have since I was a teen. But, I don't know what I'm talking about when they are the subject. I don't get the gourmand notes this frag is supposed to have except vanilla. To my nose, it has an underlying, salty, watery/sweat note. Like Calvin Klein Beauty does, although it doesn't smell like that one. I can't begin to describe this scent to where you would have an idea of what it smells like. However, I can't imagine someone not liking it because it is delicious, beautiful, and sweet but not cloying. As far as being a gourmand, it makes my mouth water but I don't want to eat it. Sorry, that's the best I can do lol.
Creamy Cool Vanilla I sprayed this all over me the same day I received this! tThis brought back good childhood memories of my grandma's cream cheese vanilla frosting when she would put it into the refrigerator so it would thicken up. This is definitely something special! The star anise, licorice and juniper I believe is what is giving the cool sensation vibe. It's a beautiful composition and the longevity and projection are great. It's got that cupcake bakery smell but not sickening sweet. Definitely gonna need another bottle of this! Chef's kiss 👌
This got so much better with a week age so Im sure it will continue. On first spray out the box I was going to sell it but Im soooo glad I kept it because the way it smells now I would of regretted it and had to re-buy it if I smelled what it is now. Definitely get cupcake and anise/ licorice a cold sweet treat yum
Name on Point This fragrance is so unique. The name says it all. Great for the winter or just something that you wear when you want that nostalgic feeling. I love it
Gourmand Meets a Winter Walk in the Woods! Let me start by telling you that I am not the biggest fan of licorice. This fragrance, however, is mesmerizing and one of my favorite Duas! I love it because it is unique with scent notes that I personally would have never thought to put together! When I received a sample of it I knew I wanted the full bottle. To my nose, the fragrance begins with an aromatic but not overly-strong anise which brings out one of my favorite childhood memories of a thin, beautifully patterned Italian waffle cookie called a pizzelle. I can smell the vanilla and cake notes along with a hint of coconut, which play so well with the anise and licorice! Just when you’re set in thinking this is strictly a gourmand fragrance, you get a fresh blast of cool crisp air blowing around in a forest of evergreen trees. The vanilla and anise notes are still there, heightening the fragrance of those juniper trees. This is a great spring or summer evening fragrance, or a fall and winter fragrance. Frost Bitten Cupcake is the perfect name for it!
Intoxicating licorice Received a sample with last order, upon first spritz a sharp very sweet licorice/ star anise scent. I vasilated between the two notes finally settling on licorice. After about 20 minutes the vanilla starts to show, taking the edge of the prominate licorice scent the cake scent adds to the cohesive depth, i did not detect the other notes, but am sure those are the cause of the sweetness which is delicious but is not an over the top sickly sweet. but as it was only a un-macerated sample this is to be expected. DUA fragrances really do shine on the dry down. The licorice note does stay throughout the dry down i got a good 4 hour projection. This is a very unique licorice fragrance , i am looking forward to what this will smell like in a month or two.
