Inspiration: Erolfa by Creed.
Creed fragrances hold the reputation for being among the freshest offerings in the industry. From the radiant fruits of Millesime Imperial to the lush verdure of Green Irish Tweed, dressing yourself with these olfactory expressions is a choice made in confidence. However, one 1992 expression trails behind while its attention-seeking counterparts steal the metaphorical spotlight. High Seas is our inspired expression of Creed’s Erolfa: an exemplary fragrance capturing the glamor and pull of the Mediterranean. This nautical fragrance embodies freshness through an overdose of citrus including orange, lemon, and bergamot. A sparkling opening sets the stage for aromatics and spices to engage the heart of the fragrance where you’re made to feel as though you’re taking the seaward voyage for yourself. Grounding the fragrance are accents of cedar and moss to expand the scentful presence with essences of the land where the journey started. Many iterations of the original are available on the market, but sourcing the natural ingredients that accurately recreate the likeness of the inspiration is what makes High Seas a cut above the rest. Doing all of this without compromising affordability is a challenge, and there’s a well-founded reason why a 100ml bottle of Erolfa sells for $395. We’ve diminished the return in the interest of accessibility. We guarantee you’ll struggle to tell the difference.
