This is a beautiful scent. It is reminiscent of Eternity or maybe even Platinum Egoiste, but it stands its own. Performance is not bad either for this kind of fragrance profile.

Unmistakably Masculine and Signature Scent Worthy. There's nothing else out today that smells similar. It's one of those scents, when you wear it, you KNOW you smell good. At first I was going to dismiss it as a barbershop scent, but as it develops you realize it's more like a barbershop scent on steroids.
I have bought a few other "inspired by" romance products and they were not even close. Dua smells almost the same and lasts longer, although that may be the original bottle I have is 15+ years old. I am really glad I found this product!

This is an absolutely amazing fragrance sprayed some on this morning and my wife said mmmmm that smells really good.... I cannot remember if I had this or sprayed it in the 90s but I took a chance based off reviews the first initial spray is bright citrus 🍊 like a burst of juicy orange and citrus fresh sparkling like a celebration scent.... It's amazing how the opening smells sooo similar to supernova mandarin orange cologne elixir the hybrid mixed with Elysium eua intense it's sooooo refreshing with a great masculine dry down that is a true work of art well done Dua a true Gem and you captured this fragrance with authority 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

The fragrance itself is very good. It seems well blended, the opening is smooth and it remains potent for 8 hours at least. I gave it 4 out of 5 only because it falls just short of the original Romance for men, but that is to be expected. I would rather be 92% there for $40 than spend $300 on a possibly sour bottle from ebay.

At long last! 🙌🏻 I am...er, *was* still bitter, a whole damn decade, over Ralph Lauren yanking Romance for Men from production. I was left completely wrecked over never getting the olfactory high from smelling its intoxicating scent on a man ever again. Because, I swear...the things it makes me wanna do to the man wearing it...GUH. No other supposed dupe has come close to actually replicating RFM. And nobody else who does succeed in making incredibly accurate dupes, seems to recall it ever existed or hasn't deemed it worthy of replication. The world is a better place now that His Affair is here & available. I am not prepared to go thru the devastation of losing this cologne twice in one lifetime. So I hope this is a permanent fix in the DUA shop...keep it forever, please & thank you! 🙏🏻🩶
My boyfriend really liked the fragrance. He liked the cologne Romance by Calvin Klein and from what he remembers it smells pretty similar. The packaging of the cologne was great. Arrived quickly.
Smell is dead on, fragrance last long time.
So good I had to review it twice, yessai! So now that I’ve had this macerated for three months it smells even more amazing and the dna is about as close as you could ask. The one thing different I noticed is the celery note doesn’t come through as much as the OG that added that crispness. That aside, the one thing your going to notice is this needs to be smelt at a good arm’s length to really appreciate it. It’s an extrait and certain scents I’ve purchased here that are woody floral types don’t come through when smelling it too close. If you’re like me and have fond memories of the OG then you need to get this spray it a few times once you get it and let it sit for at least three weeks before you can truly appreciate it. Damn you Dua this is the one that got me started on my Dua journey. I’ve wnet down the rabbit hole and may never get out. I’m up to 27 fragrances and see no end in sight. Love all my Dua’s The Dallas Cowboys will win the SuperBowl DC4L!!
It’s been 20+ years! Been waiting for someone to do RL Romance right. You’re going to need to let it macerate for a few weeks but it’ll be worth it. Initial spray didn’t smell like it hardly but once it dried down unbelievable how accurate it was. I’ve had fresh batches of cologne that needed to sit first and this is no difference. Words can’t describe how happy I am to have my signature scent back. I’m a Dua fan for life now and next purchase will be their version of Givenchy Play Intense. Cowboys will win the SuperBowl, lol
This smells almost exactly like the original Romance. My wife loves it! I am on my 2nd bottle. Great price for an excellent product. This scent projects and lasts all day!
Now, one of the best designer-niche fragrances ever made. Made by the Maestro. Now this is a real designer-niche, in my book. No it didn't cost $300.00. And no it doesn't smell like a barnyard,etc. And it is from a designer. But it is different in a wonderful way. The pine tree scent is wonderfully done. And I live in North Carolina, the Tar Heel state, and I have smelt more tar than I care to remember. But this pine is so wonderful. It is beautifully breathtaking with the ginseng, celery, pistachio leaf and such smooth orange and mandarin smells. Tie this in with the rose, lavender, patchouli, and lily notes and it a magnificent smell. I have smelt so many so called niche that when using the same notes, smell horrible. But this one is a masterfully blended powerhouse. Now this is niche at its finest. To me a true niche is a different and wonderfully blended exotic smelling perfume that nothing else resembles. A man's scent that is so complicated and in extrait, the blend of these exotic ingredients is incredible. Yes I know Ralph Lauren is not expected to produce such a fragrance, and in all honesty he didn't. This is what we would have got in 1999 if he had used extraits with the right perfumer. You have to let this one sit for a least 3 months to really smell the extrait in its best form. But by God, when you do, it will tug at your soul. I was disappointed when I first smelled it. It smelt like the original. But I have faith in the Maestro. This is one fine perfume. Please Maestro, now Silver Romance? I beg of thee.

Dua Must Resurrect little known but Magical Raulph Lauren CHAPS In my book this lesser known fragrance from 70-80s is a benchmark in Masculine fragrances i stil have a dark bottle with silver bison cap and 30% juice as souvenir for past 30-40 years - I believe Mahsam is the only person who can recreate this magic - chap has a jaw dropping opening but the pity was it was not long lasting on my skin now this area is expertise of Dua therefore i imagine a Chaps with Extraordinary masculine leathery profile with improved longevity hope Team Dua fulfills this dream Thanks
