Smells good!
Finally got my hands on this smells just like the original formula before all the reformulations
Upon application, you are immersed in the lipstick iris, which I wouldn’t really call lipstick. I do get that people equate it to makeup. I am not intimately familiar with the scent of lipstick. I wore it once for a church play. How can people tolerate that heavy waxiness on their lips? I digress, the iris smells of powdery earth. That sounds much worse than it is, but it does retain a manner of sweetened lavender, which also adds to the elegance of the dusty iris. The beauty of Intense Homme lies within the amber, giving a needed coziness without making it gourmand or sticky. Traces of dusted cocoa also contribute heavily, but again, this is not a gourmand. This is pure class. There is a bit of cedar in the base, but it’s a supporting actor. It’s more of a transparent base that feels almost there, but almost not at the same time. I am unsure as to which note causes this, but there is almost a soft and plush leather lurking beneath the scent. The performance of this scent is massive. This scent will literally last around 16 hours on skin, with hearty projection for the first 4-5 hours before becoming a more moderate scent. This is a scent that announces your presence before you enter a room and lingers long after the party is over. Despite the name Intense Homme, the scent is quite unisex. It’s a clean iris scent with an elegant streak, and anyone can wear it. I would say it leans slightly more on the mature spectrum for working professionals. When worn with moderation, this is a great office scent or a perfume to flaunt with a new black dress or crisp suit. It can fit equally well in some heels or a jumper and chinos. When I had my bottle of the OG, it was quite successful for date nights as well. I just wouldn’t wear it too casually, as I believe this scent is a bit of a “power flex” and it just doesn’t vibe well with streetwear.
Instantly bought a backup bottle as soon as this one arrived, beautiful creamy Iris scent.
Just got this one in, just used 2-3 sprays (wanted to let is macerate for a few months). But it smells so good and lasted over 10 hours from the jump. My wife loves this scent and smells just like the OG

Intensely smelly
I like the drydown. It turns into this soft velvety fresh vibe. But the opening is pure lipstick.. like thats all i get. Till about 5minutes then it begins to smooth out to a great lingering dry down

Though I’ve yet to smell the original, I am in love with this fragrance. This sweet sophisticated scent has gotten me multiple compliments. I can’t help but spray my wrists to smell it for myself throughout the day. Once again, Dua made a fantastic alternative to a wonderful fragrance.
I haven't smelled the original but I knew I would love these notes. Straight from the beginning this fragrance performs like crazy and smells fantastic. Its marketed toward men but I am finding the iris to be so smooth, so creamy and so inviting. If you love a patchouli iris composition, this is the one for you. What a great value. You don't need more than a couple sprays.

I have tried 30+ of your fragrances and this is the creme de la creme, top of the line, dupe masterpiece. Absolutely on par and in some ways better than DHI 2008. Very smooth and inviting fragrance This fragrance reminds me of a non-spicy, iris-infused version of Armani Code. The original Code was once my signature scent so I know it very well.
