When Interlude Black Iris by Amouage was released, we realized how beautifully the smoky character of Interlude Man can combine with notes of iris and orris root to add a smooth texture to the harshness. This left us wanting to experiment with a little blending of our own! Our favorite iris perfume is undoubtedly L’iris de Fath by Jacques Fath, and we have even named our inspired expression of it Holy Grail. In this recent inspired hybrid, we combine our recreation of Interlude Man with our inspired expression of the best iris fragrance on the market! King’s Holy Grail Oud is the new blend in town, and it combines the smoke of oregano, incense, and oud with the buttery texture of orris root and iris. The fullness of the blend will leave you in awe, and we are questioning why we didn’t think of combining these two fragrances sooner. The animalic properties of the oud are toned down, and the floral personality of the orris is toughened up significantly. King’s Holy Grail oud is the fragrance to wear when looking for an absolute show-stopper and head-turner!
