I waited to order this because I wasn’t confident I could pull it off based on the write up. But last time the vault penned up I pounced. And when it arrived 3+ weeks ago, it was a confusing combination of everything all at once. It badly needed to sort itself out. Picking it up tonight, the complexity is still there but a soft floral note has tamed the roughest edges and holds them in balance. The result has me glued to my wrist. For guys worried about florals, don’t be. There is a truckload of dark green galbanum and Vetiver to anchor this, and there is a lot of wood. But over it all the silky fresh floral citrus notes have turned this into something remarkable. High end & refined without being snooty at all. This is the first review of this in 8 years it seems. Who knows how long it will remain available. If you’re fan of complex green scents, give it a try.
