This short-lived release from 2011 became an instant hit among the perfume consumers who were seeking a brighter and fresher designer fragrance. Containing notes of ginger, bergamot, and water notes, this refreshing fragrance was the perfect fresh alternative to the original L’Homme or even La Nuit de L’Homme. Rendezvous Cologne Gingembre Attar is our inspired expressions of the discontinued L’Homme Cologne Gingembre by Yves Saint Laurent, and we hunted the vintage formulation for our inspired expression. The ginger is peppery sharp, pungent, and aromatic, and the violet is tidy and graceful. Possibly one of the most versatile and usable fragrances ever released, this fragrance will always match the occasion to keep you smelling impeccable! So glad this discontinued gem was remade by you guys
This scent makes me want to make duaa for Dua! I was upset when they stopped making YSL Gingembre, despite its pathetic performance. But this…this is the one. I don’t know what it is but this scent is so unique. It’s fresh yet spicy. Sophisticated yet understated - and at first smell you might think it’s a summer scent but it’s shockingly versatile even in our cold Canadian winters. I will be upset if you ever stop making these! Long live Ginbgembre!
I originally purchased this scent because my dad used to wear it years ago. Besides the fact that it’s now discontinued, the original YSL also has terrible lasting power. Anyone that knows this specific flanker knows that it’s usually gone in 30 minutes. DUA however really knocked it out of the park with this scent. It was my first time purchasing from them and I’m blown away. 1 single spray lasts 3-4 hours. Not to mention the fact that it smells EXACTLY like the original YSL L'Homme Cologne Gingembre. I had low expectations buying from DUA because I just didn’t know what to expect originally from a clone house that has so many options, but I can easily see that they do a fantastic job with their scents and I’m looking forward to purchasing from them in the future.
I am a simple man! Good day everybody. Love it so much, buy it from our local seller. Always love YSL Lhomme edt. However the performance weak. By the time I just buy cheap dupe from L'uomo from fragrance world untill I found DUA brand! Eventhough it is not direct dupe to YSL Lhomme edt but the vibe is there, more freshier with better performance indeed. This is one of my fav freshie. All season frag. Love it so much. You can't go wrong with DUA. Thank you DUA team, you are brilliant to the max!

Unique aroma A real explosion of ginger, masculine touch and good alternative for non-citrus aromas. Something dry and spiced but with magic impossible to forget. Very good performance and wake. It reminds me of perfumes from the 2000s.
Amazing scent! I've never smelled the original scent, but my goodness this smells great. I have no idea why YSL discontinued this. Thank you Dua for creating this masterpiece.
100% same with 3X more performance! I had the original L’Homme Cologne Gingembre by YSL. The original was breathtaking with very poor performance. Dua's has 100% same DNA with 3X more performance! Heavenly Light Fresh Ginger. What Gingembre could have been. Discontinued and getting expensive. Beautiful Ginger Sweet, light and fresh. Just perfect. Nothing bad. You will love this one. Sprayable attar in what was a cologne. I always loved, I mean really loved this cologne. I dreamed of what this would have smelled like if I could have smelt it for more than 5 minutes. Spray and gone. I just gave up. But now my wish has been answered. Impossibly! I just stand in awe of how wonderful these adaptions are from DUA. They seem to magically capture the meat/heart of these fragrances. They get down to business and bury you in goodness, FOREVER. I would have bought bottles of this fragrance if it originally did this. The scent is just so wonderful. It is nothing like the other YSL L'Homme's(DUA's Rendezvous'). This one has to be one of the best ginger fragrances I have smelt. But don't worry; the ginger is very light and beautiful. One of the two most beautiful L'Homme's from YSL, along with L'Homme Parfum Intense(DUA's Rendezvous Attar). Why YSL made this a cologne is beyond me. This one could have been a winner. Well, thanks to Mr. Raza it is now a real winner. If you need to feel good, and want a REAL fresh that is not blue, this is it. A true masterpiece that went under the radar thanks to the dumbos at YSL. Now a genius has fixed it, and made the ginger eternal and even better. I don't want to go to heaven(hopefully) unless Mr. Raza will be there with his fragrances. It just wouldn't be heaven.
Damn! Ok - this is really good. I recall buying a bottle of Gingembre & I recall thinking how amazing the scent was but the performance was horrid. This one does a terrific job recapturing that scent - performance is also vastly improved upon here.
Yoooooo This one is crazy good. So damn smooth, very mass appealing. Only wish it came out in May cuz it is a summer beast.
WOW!! I love all the Rendezvous's series and when I read Yves Saint Laurent L’Homme Cologne, my eyes got really large. Then when I read more of the description, I wasn't going to wait, I jumped right on this one. I have never smelled the OG but, if were anything close to this firebomb, it makes me wonder why it was discontinued. This Yves Saint Laurent L’Homme Cologne Gingembre is sooo good I have to get more, no doubt. This is going to be a lady killer for sure. The opening is so fresh and with that ginger, bergamot, violet leaf, white pepper Oh man! Then the rest gets in to the scent with the musk, Virginian cedar wood, vetiver, and all the other's put together make it like a fine glass of wine. I get about a good 9+ hours on my skin, easy. More if you spray just a little on your clothes. Thanks DUA. I don't know how you continue to put out these excellent fragrance's.
