I am giving Rockstar a 5 Star review even though they don’t smell exactly the same. But What Rockstar does, it does it really well. To my nose, the main difference is that the boozyness of the original is tamed down. The OG has a more defined transition, Rockstar gets a mixture of the mid and dry down (sweet part). I don’t really perceive much of a transition.
That being said, that aspect of the OG that it embraces, is fantastic. I have actually gotten compliments on this (2) and never with the OG.
I would really recommend it. But don’t expect a 1 to 1.
Great job DUA
This is a greeeeat scent! Very similar to Monkey special, but not much “caramel” scent and doesn’t have the longevity, but I honestly love the scent. It’s great for everyday. A signature scent even. Certainly blind but worthy if you love Monkey Special like I do.
Over time this dua has made the original obsolete. Love this scent it's amazing a date night banger but i challenge you to make it your signature scent. Be that guy!
Once i got the xerjoff tommi iommi in i was happy to compare. The dua is so intense which is great for us. We can use alot less fluid and get the same experience
This is really really good.. one of my new favorites in my collection! It smells like sweet, fruity booze This is what I imagine a rockstar smelling like..the Dua team did an awesome job on this one!
I really love this fragrance. I own Tony Iommi Monkey Special by Xerjoff. This is a great inspiration of that fragrance. I can wear it every day, and keep the original for special occasions. Although most people would not know the difference. It’s an outstanding fragrance. I wasn’t sure how much I liked the original until I wore it a couple times. I fell in love with it. So I was really happy to get a bottle of rockstar for every day. If you like niche fragrances, I would definitely recommend this one. The fragrance that inspired this is extremely expensive. This is a lot easier on the wallet. A+++
Smells all right I was expecting the note breakdown for it to be a little bit more. It’s an OK sent. I don’t think I would order it again not that they didn’t get it right it’s just the sentence just OK. I’ve smelt the original before. I think it comes pretty darn close. Just didn’t really last as long as I had hoped.
Rockstar is a very nice fragrance. A middle aged man with his leather jacket driving around in his bad ass muscle car, with a cigar in his mouth. That is who i picture wearing this cologne
The Manliest man, to ever man!
This frag right here is the representation of what a "Man" Smells like! This is Rum, Leather, rose, patchouli, Vanilla, Musk, Ambergris. This is rummy, smokey, leather, with a hint of rose & something slightly green & some sweet ess in the back ground. The project & sillage is beyond beastly! I love this! It's such a great winter/fall, Masculine frag. I love this on my man! AR 1st I didn't enjoy it, b/c it was TOO dark, & semi sharp. Now....it is rounded out, and I pick up more of the vanilla, rose and tonka than I did before! This is def worth owning. Layers great with other vanilla, &/or alcoholic type frags
This stuff rocks! The opening is somewhat powdery and incense heavy. Then it develops, magic happens. Definitely not linear. The blend keeps your nose picking up notes of, a rock star.
Boozy & Delicious
This fragrance is bold, boozy, sweet, and smoky. I feel like it will really shine in cold weather. The maseration process is still going and each couple of days it gets better and better! Just note it leans masculine which I dont mind on my skin - not a girly fragrance at all.
This stuff is awesome. Smells great, I don't go anosmic to it, it projects strongly and lasts a very long time. I get a ton of compliments. Please do not stop making this one.

I sampled Xerjof Tony Iomi Monkey Special shortly after it's release and was blown away by it but 275 was not in my budget so as per habit I check out the new releases and I read Rockstar and just before I dropped my phone I caught a glimpse of Tony so I immediately bought it and when it came in I compared what was left in my sample and Rockstar and it was crazy close so I wore it to the Judas Priest/Queensryche concert in Moline IL and got so many compliments I ordered a backup today writing this I finally got my real version which is a work of art and I am happy to have the backup as I see it is sold out now but if it comes back in stock then do not hesitate just buy it
