If there's ever such a thing as a mass pleasing scent, Layton by Parfums de Marly certainly wears the crown. With notes of vanilla, apple, and bountiful spices, Layton has won the hearts and noses of those fortunate enough to own a bottle. Several years ago, we were lucky to purchase the 2016 version of the scent, which as far as our noses can detect, is bolder, creamier, fruitier, and longer lasting. It is this observation that has compelled us to try our luck at recreating this original masterpiece. For this hybrid, we have used our version of Layton and combined it with our impression of Elysium by Roja Parfums to create what we call Royal Chariot & Supernova! The brightness of our version of Elysium combines with the vanilla and apple from our take on Layton to create a duality between energizing and seductive! Additional notes of thyme and artemisia add the aromatic flavor while ambergris in the base keeps the freshness alive for many hours! Royal Chariot & Supernova is a reminder when you wear it that you’re a king, a star, and your style is explosive!
