The music couldn’t get louder, and people could actually take a joke. 1969 was a special time, and everyone took something special from this remarkable time in our not-so-distant history. #Summerof69 is an original creation filled with tart cranberries, refreshing orange, long-lasting cedar wood, and exotic labdanum. The compilation of citrus fruits is exactly what we need to cool us down in the summer time, and the warm base notes are what we will bring back in with us when we decide to bring the party indoors. When the needle finds its way to the middle of the record, we flip the disc and keep the party going. Vetiver and oakmoss convey the earth, and the solid ground is where we decided to spend much of our time before computers were released to make zombies out of us. #Summerof69 is a fun, mature, citrus sandalwood fragrance. I purchased this because I loved the name and the song reference, and I took a chance that I might hate it, but I love it. It's my SOTD and I just want to wear it repeatedly. It's not a "signature scent" kind of scent....it's a nostalgic, whirl around in your feelings, kind of scent. I would recommend this for people who love fruity, but not cloying scents. As I sit here typing, it's also a little "clean" but in a dark (not bright) way. Take the leap and give it a try.

Why is no one talking about this? So, my mom is a flower child, so, I purchased this for her for mother's day. Of course I had to spray it, to let it mature. OMG I FELL IN LOVE! I HAD TO REPURCHASE ONE FOR MYSELF 🤣🤣🤣

NOT ONLY AN ACTUAL REVIEW, BUT A REVIEW WITH MORE THAN FILLER First of all, yes, this is Sean John's I Am Weak, I mean King. Slight floral quality opening, due to the tangerine. Not a beast, but quite beautiful. Not a big fan of tangerine; too sweet and comes off almost floral. But this is very nice tangerine. Quickly Heart takes on an aquatic sweet smell, but the tangerine is just hanging in, with the cassius coming in. Typical ocean fragrance. Nothing bad nothing really great either. Tangerine is still there; unlike I Am Weak. So bottom line, wonderful 10 minute tangerine, followed by a weak typical aquatic sweet salt smell, but nothing like the ADG's or Invictus Aqua 2016. This is why I Am Weak sells for $20.00. I had hoped for a long lasting opening of tangerine. Nope. This does not smell like Creed's MI to me in any way, and there is no melon or musk! Good choice for women who like salty tangerine. One of the new sprayers. I was a fan of the old sprayers. They were perfect. This one wastes too much juice into the air. There was a small amount of leakage on the first spray, but nothing after that. Frankly, Mr. Raza, with all the fabulouse vintages out there, why you chose this one is beyond me. I guess we're on an aquatic kick now. Let's face it; Invictus and ADG cannot be rivaled in aquatics. And your's are the best. You could have chosen to resurrect Drakkar Noir or the Kouros line or the dozens of vintage Armani's. I don't understand this one. Miss. This is a one trick pony: Salty Tangerine.

Now for an actual review/purchase A wonderful summer winner. The best way to summarize: top melony and tart notes that last, hint of aquatic, similar to LV l'Immensité. Underneath was the surprise--musk not listed but this has the drydown of Mill. Imperiale. I love that. Of my 40 DUAs, this ranks near the top for longevity--yes, unreal for a citrus summer scent. Didn't shower on July 4th, and the ambergris/musk with wisps of melon was lingering at hour 25!

Word is this is Sean John's I Am King. Let's Hope So. The only thing it missed was the power of the extrait! I will give this a try. The only thing Sean John's I Am King was missing was longevity. 10 minutes after I sprayed it on it was gone. But boy was it a wonderful scent for those 10 minutes!! With the power of The House of Dua's Extraits, this will be a keeper. I'll be back. Wildthing
