In the 80’s, perfumes were made much differently. The unapologetic longevity and performance are all the proof you needed when determining the quality of one of these exceptional fragrances. One such fragrance released in 1988 is Jazz by Yves Saint Laurent. This classic YSL Jazz dupe is a woody aromatic offering, and it features notes of lavender, oakmoss, tobacco, and leather. Most fragrances of this era shared a similar olfactive makeup, but the quality in the original formulations is incomparable. For this reason, we purchased a bottle of vintage formulation in order to reconstruct the scent. The Blue is inspired by Jazz by Yves Saint Laurent, and our inspired expression features all of the same long-lasting earthy, herbaceous, musky, and woodsy notes. The base of leather and tonka bean adds exceptional longevity for a scent experience that seems interminable. The Blues is a scent that will get your feet moving and create the right amount of rhythm and harmony in your life! To replay a soundtrack from better times, press play on The Blues today!
Yes, The Blues is our inspired expression of the iconic Jazz by YSL. It's one of the best YSL Jazz dupe options available today for those who miss the original.
We used a vintage bottle of the original to perfectly match its earthy, musky character. This YSL Jazz dupe holds nothing back in authenticity and quality.
Absolutely! It’s crafted to be a versatile fragrance for men. Whether you're heading to work or a night out, it fits all settings.
It lasts for hours, just like the classic it’s based on. A true trait of all great YSL Jazz dupes.
Key notes include Lavender, Nutmeg, Coriander, Artemisia, Anise, Basil, Bergamot, Cinnamon, Cardamom, Geranium, Carnation, Jasmine, Iris, Oakmoss, Tobacco, Leather, Sandalwood, Cedar Wood, Musk, Amber, and Tonka Bean.
Not at all. The style may be vintage-inspired, but The Blues is for anyone who enjoys strong, character-rich perfumes.
People are realizing that older perfumes had more depth, power, and uniqueness. A YSL Jazz dupe like The Blues brings that quality back into today’s world.
It shares the lounge-like warmth of Replica Jazz, while also appealing to those who enjoy Tobacco Vanille by Tom Ford or the textural depth found in Le Labo creations. As a Maison Margiela Jazz Club dupe, it feels smoother and more intimate than many louder tobacco perfumes.

It is the best masculine scent I have ever tried in my life. Elegant, timeless with a classic and distinctive touch. Get it without hesitation

Never smelled the original YSL Jazz. The La Collection version is expensive and hard to find. When I saw Dua had an interpretation of YSL Jazz at an affordable price, I couldn’t pass on the chance to get it. For me this smells like a polished, well-groomed man who is assertive and carries himself with wisdom and confidence. Overall a powerful and charming fragrance that calls back to the past without smelling dated or off putting. Get it while you can.

I met Jazz (not Live Jazz, to be clear) by YSL in the late 1980s and it became by far my favorite. A phenomenal fragrance. In a move that still boggles my mind, YSL stopped making it. The Dua Brand has, without any doubt, performed a miracle: it resurrected Jazz. The Blues feels identical to the original. If you are looking for the original Jazz, you found it.

The package arrived when expected, and it was bubble wrapped for maximum protection during shipping, but this didn’t smell anything like what I was expecting.

Smells amazing! I used to love Jazz and have been bummed for years since they stopped making it. So happy to have found this!

Takes me back in time. I forgotten what it smelled like, but as soon as I got a hold of this bottle and sprayed it, I gave myself a look in the mirror with a nod of approval. I've missed this fragrance so bad. It's been 30 years at least.

Just like others have posted; it small exactly like Jazz (piano black/white plastic container) from the early 90’s.
Thank you!!

I wore YSL Jazz for years in the 80’s and 90’s and have been look for something close and I am extremely pleased. The memory of scent is so strong. I remember this fragrance and I am so happy to have this back in my life.

Really happy to have found this as a remake of JAZZ which was my all time favourite. I'm not sure this is pure Jazz but it has many familiar tones and I absolutely love it. The downside was that I live in Italy and the shipping cost of €30 got another surcharge of €25 for out of area delivery ( which is nonsense by the way as the courier that delivered it services this area daily). And then a further massive import duty and taxation, so all in all, not worth ordering again.

The Blues by DUA Fragrance has reconnected me with my best perfume YsL Jazz, which hitherto has become almost extinct.
Once I took delivery of my order from Dua Fragrance ( The Blues), I already made up my mind that I wasn't going to be disappointed if it turned out it didn't meet my expectations. Not only did it meet it, it was an amazing surprise, the smell to me, is exactly the same as YsL Jazz, the longevity is phenomenal, everything about the Blues is absolutely fantastic.
I will be purchasing a couple more bottles, to be on the safe side. 😆 🤣
Well done DUA.

Just like the old one.
This is my first Dua fragrance, and I've just started wearing it. From my recollection of the original YSL Jazz in the old plastic black and white bottle, this is pretty much identical. And I expect it will only get better once it macerates a little. It makes me realise what a weak imitation the YSL La Collection one is which I've been using for a few years. Thanks Dua.

I was finally able to feel this smell again that captivated me more than 1 decade ago and that unfortunately YSL discontinued. Initially I was somewhat disappointed because when I applied it I didn't feel the same but with the passage of the minutes its drying is almost identical to the original smell of Jazz that I remembered. Congratulations to Dua for reliving these olfactory memories.

Tómalo y no dudes!!!!!
Gracias Broski Raza🙏🙏🙏🙏

Perfumes changed forever with this Fragrance. And so did America. Beautiful Fragrance.
To me, the fragrance that ushered in the end of the care-free days of the 70s and 80s and the end of on of my first loves; Heavy Metal. Money became king, Nirvana and Grunge would rule. I didn't like Jazz then. It was challenging one of my other first loves; The King Kouros. To be clear; Jazz is just as wonderful as Kouros. These are the best fragrances will ever get.
This is a beautiful mature fragrance that so captures the growing up of America. Not to be smelled too close. This is an arms length masterpiece. This will capture the room you walk into. (This is a good general rule for most extraits, by the way; they are just too powerful to get too close to; you will smell the notes individually and sometimes they will be unpleasant for the first hour as they are so strong).
What does it smell like? Like nothing else you have smelled before. This is the vintage version. The best one. This is a behemoth and is the most powerful I have ever smelt it. The best of extraits. One of the most complex smelling extraits ever made, in my opinion. And possibly the best dry down extrait.
Sit down, with your favorite drink, music and smoke, and relax. You're in for a helluva ride if you never smelt it. If you have, then thanks for reading. Beautifully done, Mr. Raza. As usual.
I know now after smelling this again, why they say the King is dead, long live the King. Kouros died on the day I first smelled Jazz. I just didn't know it. Innocence Lost.

Takes me back to High School
This is my first love scent ever and was a gift from my girlfriend in High School. It is a manly scent but I have always rocked the ones that others didn't. No polo green or Tommy here. On the the 1st spray I was overjoyed because my bottle was misplaced in 1992 when my mother moved and I was in the Army. Glad to have this discontinued classic in my arsenal.

Outstanding Summer Fragrance
This juice is just mind-blowing;
Without focusing to much on the notes I would rather comment the overall impression.
It is definitely a masculine fresh fragrance. Something between fougere, spicy and aromatic.
Well rounded and blended bottle.
Suitable in the spring and summer time, a perfect date night scent.
Don't be afraid it's not too much or too heavy. But of course be careful with the trigger, but anyway this count for every dua fragrance.

Exactly like the Piano Bottle
Jazz is my most favorite barbershop/fougere of all time, it's an absolutely timeless scent. Everyone talks about Rive Gauche as the best barbershop ever, (Dua's River Fougere is spectacularly accurate clone of that one....), but for my taste, Jazz is the best one out there. I know this fragrance backwards and forwards, and I own all 3 versions of it: The original black/white piano bottle, the tall clear bottle formula, and the "La Collection" square bottle reformulation. The Blues smells exactly like the original black/white version, which is a fuller/rounder smell with deeper oakmoss/lavender, while still retaining the spicyness of the coriander/geranium/nutmeg and basil up top. There's also a deep cedar in the mid, and smooth sandalwood in the base that's present here, that's missing from the La Collection formula. As expected, longevity is about 10 hours with very good projection. Dua somehow managed to increase the performance without "thickening" the fragrance at all; it still smells as complex and well blended as the original, and didn't trade off any of the notes for the sake of a performance boost. Very versatile scent that can be work/casual, or even formal if you really want to, and works in all 4 seasons. Men who have their s**t together will appreciate this one.
