Inspired by Acqua di Parma Colonia
The cologne genre is one with a rich history that goes back to 4711. This neroli dominant composition paved the way for all of the fragrances that would succeed it and would decide to adopt a similar DNA. Colonia by Acqua di Parma is one of these fragrances, and its release dates back to 1916. With this fragrance being more than a century old, we knew we had to take our time with it to ensure that we did it absolute justice. Getting our recreation right entailed using the finest citrus ingredients that we could get our hands on. This included Sicilian bergamot and lemon, which work hand in hand to create the effervescent appeal of the perfume. Aromatic touches of rosemary and lavender establish the classy aroma in the heart while base notes of Vetiver and patchouli keep the green energy alive. Our inspired expression of this classic in the perfume world is called The Colony, and you will find a blend that comes extremely close to the initial batch of this magnificent creation. The debonair qualities that are already in you will rise to the surface when you wear The Colony!
