This fragrance here is the exception, and of course, we are talking about L’Imperatrice Limited Edition by Dolce&Gabbana! This fragrance released in 2009 is a perfect example of a fragrance that contains watermelon alongside strawberry and a mix of enchanting floral ingredients. The floral bouquet is comprised of cyclamen, Damask rose, and peony. The smooth and rich floral notes combine with the fruity sweetness to create a truly beguiling aroma! The sandalwood in the base is rich and smooth while the musk is clean and deeply exotic. Pink Peony Citrus grapefruit scent The pink Peony makes this fragrance smell like pink grapefruit to me. Its really Citrusy which is not the fruit scent i was looking for. I don't smell the water melon or strawberry at all. May need time to sit?

This is an ultra feminine summer fragrance with beautifully blended notes. The fruity top notes stay true throughout the entire time wearing it, I can still smell them after 3-4 hours. Definitely grab this one if you like a sweet pink fruit scent.
Summer In a bottle!! I get slightly sweet, aquatic red berries. Fluffy clouds of musk from the Sandalwood. Soft angelic greeny like fresh sweetness of a watermelon rind. This will be my summer staple for sure!!

A Great Stand-Alone Fragrance Went through two samples waiting for this baby to be delivered-- and it's finally here! Just bought two bottles. I confess to being shocked that this is a L’Imperatrice Limited Edition inspiration, because I hate LLE. Truthfully, I think of this more as a stand-alone non-inspired fragrance. Empress carries more of a Chloe-vibe for me, which is great because it has all the greatness of a well-settled Chloe without the screechy high notes. Definitely a female-forward scent, with a soft, rounded dry down. I love it!
