The Shit
Inspiration: Homme (Vintage first formulation) by Joop!
Nightclubs in the 1980’s are known for their flashing lights, their disco music, the quirky dances, and the eccentric apparel of the club-goers. However, one invisible memento has woven itself into the tapestry of the decade. 1989 was a particularly great year for the fragrance world. This is mainly because Joop! Homme was released for all the bachelors to enjoy. Those old enough to remember will rave about a time when the fragrance would last on skin until well into the next day. Much has changed in the past few decades, but with Dua still working their magic, one need not compromise! We have found a way to take the original vintage formula of Joop! Homme and concentrate it enough so that fans of the smell can once again get a day’s worth of enjoyment from just a few sprays. Using the finest raw materials was crucial as well. The sweetness of heliotrope and almond is at the fore of this composition. Citrus accents are discreet but imperative for the shaping of the overall aroma. Tonka bean and patchouli close out the scent for a long-admired complexity that is sure to win over fragrance- sensitive consumers for many more decades to come. One spray, and you’ll be reminded of why this fragrance is The Shit!
