This is an amazing fragrance! It's the perfect amount of sweetness to the vanilla, but the rum note adds a boozy aspect to the scent that keeps it from being too cloying. It's the perfect "grown-up" vanilla 😉 Absolutely back up worthy!🥰

This is 100% spot on. No variation, not almost identical. This is 100% identical to the OG! It is also stronger! Right now the OG cost well over 500 bucks! This is a fraction of the price….. an absolute steal to be honest. I normally have such a hard time with vanillas but this is just beautiful!
If you love vanilla, you need this! Such a classic vanilla. Smells just like the OG. I need to upgrade my size!

This is a beautiful rich scent, very similar to the OG! It is not for everyone, it is complex, dark, strong. It is 95% to SDV by Guerlain, the only difference being the opening which is much more woody/leather for the DUA’s. I have the original so I could compare them very well. Leather is not mentioned in the notes, but that is the smell which is a bit stronger than it should and I tuink it is given by the cedar. It is an unisex smell, perfect for cold season. I can’t wait to see if the vanilla develops in the next few months! Knowing how expensive the OG is, I truly recommend this one if you like dark rich vanilla!
Vanilla Overload is a beautiful incense and vanilla fragrance. In a side by side comparison to SDV, it's quite close, especially after drying down for 5-10 minutes. The opening in SDV is a bit smoother. Vanilla Overload has a harsher and stronger incense opening. I just received Vanilla Overload a couple of days ago, so the incense in the first few minutes of the fragrance could potentially become smoother over time. As is, Vanilla Overload is quite close to SDV, if the incense in the opening smoothed out a bit after sitting, I'm not sure if I could tell the difference between the two.

This is a beautiful boozy vanilla fragrance. It manages to be sweet, rich, luxurious and unforgettable. Wearing it on my skin is one of the most enjoyable of any fragrance I've ever owned. Vanille Overload is definitely not your everyday vanilla. It’s a vanilla spice bomb. It’s a beast mode fragrance in my opinion and that’s another reason why I love it so much. Longevity and sillage are 10/10. Will you please consider making EBK Dark N Desire Yacht? You could stay in business forever if you sold just this fragrance. And please make it beast mode?

The fragrance is fine but very weak. How can an extrait be so faint? This is not even a skin scent. I am very disappointed.

Coming from a person who bought a bunch of fragrances, not knowing what to think from the reviews, TRUST ME WHEN I SAY this is a hit. The opening can be a little alcoholic, but once five minutes passed, this scent was beautiful. The slightly alcoholic vanilla paired with smooth spices and florals and woods. It is just the perfect Winter fragrance. Also, it is fairly close to the OG i’d Say about 85%
Smells very similar to Spirituese Double Vanille but doesn’t last on my skin.
I have a tiny sample of SDV. The price of the original was exorbitant but the perfume is special. Vanille Overload is so good! The opening isn't exactly the same as the original but the dry down is perfection. I will definitely be getting a back up bottle.

Most Gorgeous Vanilla Ever I made the mistake of ordering a sample of the Guerlain and oh how I wanted a bottle! I had never tried Dua before and was a little skeptical so only ordered the small size. It arrived yesterday and I immediately ordered the large size today! I've heard that you have to let them sit for a few weeks until they are strong enough, but mine is perfection already!

Mellows out, BUT... A nice vanilla but you have to get past the really awful chemical/alcohol/burning smell and let it settle for at least 30mins. Personally I don't think it's worth it and wouldn't recommend it

A seductive, dark vanilla with a hint of incense in the background. Comparing to the original, this one feels deeper and richer. The original is a bit more watery with a bit more white floral. I prefer this one to the original. Leans more feminine, which I like since I'm a woman. Need a couple weeks maceration time for the vanilla to fully come out.

Absolute perfection. It is so wonderfully warm and comforting without smelling cheap or overpowering. I own so many many perfumes but would easily make this a signature scent. This was my first time trying Dua and I was nervous; now I can’t wait to try them again!
You need to leave this alone for a while, ime a couple of months will take it from meh to wow, this is really very good. I'm a mostly vintage aficionado, collecting and loving perfume since the mid 1970s and I was super skeptical but this is really a lovely vanilla, close to it's inspiration.
I'm letting this macerate for a bit, too. I haven't smelled Guerlain's Spiriteuse Double Vanille, so can't compare, but the opening is a bit sharper than I'd imagined it would be, but as the day progressed, I liked it more and more. I think with time it will be fantastic.
This is such a beautiful replica of SDV. The only difference I notice is that this seems to not have the top notes and I immediately get the middle and base. This seems much brighter too if that makes sense. It's definitely worth the price 👌🏽 and allows me to experience SDV while lounging in the house as it is expensive for just hanging out on the couch. I haven't had the chance yet but I intend to experiment with layering this and SDV to see if it adds to the longevity of SDV as the longevity of Vanille Overload far exceeds that of SDV. Unable to determine sillage of this but I have that problem with most fragrances unless it's super loud. Overall a great blind buy that I would definitely recommend.
MAGNIFICENT This is spot on. I only had the SDV once about 10 years ago. But one spray on my wrist, the whole experience came back. So, therefore this is as good as I remembered. So glad Dua is carrying this, and many others. The nose here is a master. Thank you! Love it! Lasts forever.
Wow!! just wow!! I received my Dua Vanille Overload today and gave it a try side by side with SDV and all I have to say is that my nose can't tell the difference between the two in the opening or in the dry down. This extrait de perfum overachieved in all aspects and a couple of sprays is all it takes to create a beautiful scent bubble around you. I can't wait to try other fragrances specially A Vanilla Affair when it becomes available again.
correction of my review Since I can't correct my original review, I figured I better just write another. So I still stand by the fact that this one smells like I have been blasted walking through the men's fragrance section at Macys, which is not my favorite. I like my frags very feminine. But, I tried this one last time, did a proper spraying and waited out the 1+ hour of men's cologne overload and something happened. Finally I understand what the fuss is about. This dries down to the most delicious vanilla, I just wish it didn't take so long on my skin. My skin seems to hold on to cedar like crazy. Just my chemistry I guess. I could never understand why people raved about this one but now I get it. I was going to relinquish this one to my boyfriend but I just might keep it for myself now. It really is lovely
