Water Of Wonders is a blend of Sea Notes, Woodsy Notes, and Patchouli. A dash of citrus in the opening is refreshing while complementing the brightness of the Sea Notes. I would give this MORE than five stars! The OG is a treasure for aquatic lovers, and I keep it in my rotation year-round. I live in Florida, where it’s hotter than Hades! Dua’s Water of Wonder is exactly that—a WONDER! The openings differ: the OG bolts in with that sea-note accord, while Dua’s brings more citrus at the onset. The drydown? Exactly the same to my nose! I’m already stalking the site for the restock!
Such a unique fragrance!
So this is interesting and unique. It starts off woody, aquatic fresh but also peppery and earthy from the patch spice right away, and with a hint of citrus. The earthy patchouli translates into a peppery scent. As it sits on my skin, it evolves into a vanilla woody fresh aquatic scent with a BR 540 amber resinous effect, so it becomes similar to VS Pink Water which has citrus, pepper, vanilla and coconut. In Water of Wonders I don't sense any coconut of course so it's a more austere and unisex scent, but the amber-y woody fresh BR 540 vibe is present. Projection is phenomenal.
There’s a strong woody note at first spray and I was worried it may not work for me, but it faded quickly and left a beautiful clean, fresh aquatic. I struggle to find aquatics that aren’t too masculine and this one fits the bill perfectly! Projection is good and good longevity as well for an aquatic (which normally don’t last long enough on my skin). I would love to see Dua do more feminine aquatics
Really love this scent ,it's fresh and clean like. I very like it a comfy summer scent .. easy and somewhat youthful. Nothing like Grandma about it . I'd say it a unisex but that's just my opinion .
I was pleasantly surprised with this one. I have been wanting to try an aquatic fragrance and I am happy it’s this one. Fresh, clean, and comforting. Like a gentle summer ocean breeze. If that’s your vibe, get it!
Love this one. Beachy. I didn't give it 5 stars because it doesn't last otherwise great scent for us people that love beachy scents without a musky end note
I get lots of compliments on the scent. It is a beautiful box and bottle. The mist/spray is not very powerful and takes some getting used to. You only need one spray, it just doesn't feel that way at first.
Fresh and Summery I am so pleased I took a chance on this and bought it! The opening is fresh sweet candied lemon (not too tart) and develops into a soft aquatic summer scent! Its gorgeous. (as a sidenote, I must say that this particular DUA has not maserated for the normal 30 days I usually give it and still is quite a nice fragrance. Love this one.
Beautiful Aquatic So my concern about this fragrance was the patchouli. It anchors the fragrance, but it is not prominent whatsoever. I get fresh sea water with a twist of sea air. This scent is fresh and will be ideal for the warmer months.
Aquatic Orange I really love this light clean scent. Reminds me a lot of Terre De Hermes, which to be is dirty orange in best possible way. I'm guessing the orange and patchouli balance is how I'm picking that up but balancing it with the water element makes it absolutely yummy. Perfection for Spring and Summer, will be on front rotation in warmer months.
