In an effort to resurrect some classic fragrances from the late 2000’s, Tom Ford released what the brand calls the Reserve Collection. This collection includes many fragrances that were once discontinued, and among them is Bois Marocain. The original came out in 2009, and many fans of the blend remember its bold cedar wood opening with a slight smokiness and greenness. However, the rerelease from 2019 is not as strong, according to many who have had the opportunity to sample it. For this reason, and to keep in line with our usual practice, we have recreated the vintage version from 2009! Our version is called Wood of Morocco, and you will smell the same, resolute cedar wood note from the vintage formula. Thuja adds to the woodsy appeal of the blend, and patchouli enhances the longevity with its fixative properties. Incense swirls around the woodsy notes to embrace and enclose them within its smoky splendor.
