Taif rose sits at the heart of this masterful perfume, and the organic qualities of the floral ingredient are arresting and intriguing. Our inspired expression of this very expensive fragrance is called Acclaim Attar, and we did not release this perfume until we were able to match or perhaps even surpass the quality and performance of the original. Dark and Bold! Very well made fragrance, not for the novice. Beast mode longevity and strong sillage for this scent, Amber, saffron, rose, and resins do come through, I pick up smoky incense strongest. Only a couple of sprays are needed, this dark fragrance is strong. I like it as it is, but also found (and I had never done this with an Amouge fragrance), that without sacrificing the dark elements it can be brightened up with a spray of Lyric Man, which accentuates the rose. Amouage is my favorite house, and this bold fragrance is an example of their boldness and creativity. It's not for everyone, and I like that. Hats off to Dua as well for choosing this type of inspiration.
Bliss. This attar is for advanced noses or those that enjoy middle eastern fragrances. A beautiful incense and saffron with the cedar base open, followed by a cade like Iso Q aeromatic leather. The tiaf rose starts to bloom under this gothic darkness..this does lean traditionally masculine, but pefumistas that love strong oriental or leather fragrances can wear it as well. Patchouli adds a earthiness, the leather wears down and produces this enigmatic dark aura. If a black rose had a scent, it would be Acclaim.
