A thick, rich, near sweaty like animalic musk that's unapologetically masculine but oddly attractive at the same time. Black beauty's nature comes across heavy but the fragrance maintains a bright and smooth profile throughout. The musk reigns supreme but it's slightly offset by citrus and herbaceous notes. I probably wouldn't recommend wearing it in hot sticky humid weather though.

Black Beauty

Old school vibes similar to blast from the past (duas version of antaeus) so if you like that one you will probably also like this one. I feel like this one might be a little easier to wear in warmer weather

Black Beauty

Masculine scent that needs a slight adjustment This is a masculine scent, spicy and musky. The musk was VERY strong, too strong, in the opening and continued deep into the dry down. This musk is animalic and very pungently strong. The other ingredients are drowned out and begin to come through as more of a mid when the musk dissipates some. This smells like a confident guy in a polo, slacks, and loafers, with a thick, expensive watch who everyone at the office still respects as obviously being in charge even though they're all wearing suits. It also smells like that same person in black slacks and black collared shirt (unbuttoned one button too far, but not appearing cliche or out of place) at the nightclub. My 4 star rating is for this product alone, if you like the note breakdown, can handle some musk (and survive the strong opening), and want a masculine fragrance per my description. Thyme and bay leaf can be polarizing. This is not blind buy friendly if you aren't familiar with the notes. Since Black Beauty and His Affair have complimentary opening, I thought His Affair over the Black Beauty would help calm the musk and brighten things up while Black Beauty would help fill the missing depth from OG Romance. Long story short, these 2 products combined make both a 5 star and should absolutely be a Dua hybrid! Black Beauty layered under His Affair is solid from opening through dry down and gains even more flexibility as a masculine daytime scent with the bit of extra brightness from His Affair's opening.
