How does Dua do it? They know! All I know is that, tiny differences aside, I am smelling the same fragrance. THEY NAILED IT! No reason for me whatsoever to buy the original again when I run out! 🤓

Cocoa Pear Midnight

Absolutely nailed it! So the original “Pas Ce Soir” is one of my favorite fragrances, there is just something about that gingery-quince chutney accord that works so well over their signature white floral, cashmeran, amberwood, & patchouli DNA that BDK is known for. It is equally as sexy as it is addictive. DUA’s inspiration is just as gorgeous, but 10X more potent and has what feels like ridiculous levels of longevity. That brings to this baddie here. DUA’s inspiration of the Extrait version of “Pas Ce Soir” really does celebrate the original, but in my opinion beefs up that patchouli and cacao which might not be for everyone, but for me it is stunning. If you’ve never smelled it, but you like fruitchouli’s, I implore you to get a bottle. I’ve heard someone describe this Extrait version as smelling like a combination of Mugler’s “Angel” & “Angel Muse”, and I couldn’t agree more. So if you like those you should check this one out.
