The opening of this perfume is all about steamed Rice, not plain, but the kind that’s subtly sweet and nutty, like the first whiff of a pot just lifted off the stove. Pandan leaf weaves in, adding a green, almost vanilla-like creaminess. Then comes the softness of Orris, powdery but never dusty, like fingertips brushing over a sack of premium jasmine rice. This is an easy to reach freshy! It's very similar to glossier you but with a rice note and no pencil shavings! Super cozy scent, feels like a hug. Only reason U'm giving it four stars is because I do wish it was a bit stronger but i'm gonna let it sit for a while.

It's ok, the rice scent is new to me, so it's something I need to get used to. Definitely like the dry down more than the Initial spray.

This is perfect. If you love white rice or leau papier, but wished it was a bit stronger and had more longevity than this will be up your alley.

I have the og and still kept this. It’s strong and leans a little more unisex that the og I love to layer them
This is such a sweet, floral-ish, comforting scent. It really does smell like rice cooking in a pot on the stove. It has an earthier smell than I expected. It’s reminiscent of Glossier You but without the pencil shaving woodiness. It just smells clean and comforting.

Ok so upon receiving my 1st bottle, I was a little unsure. I kept getting a deep smokey, almost ashy undertone….so I decluttered it. But there was something about it that pulled me back in & I purchased a 2nd bottle. Now this one is the beautiful, creamy rice scent that I was hoping for. Maybe the initial one hadn’t had time to fully macerated. Either way, I’m really enjoying this scent now. She’s a keeper!
This is a musky rice scent, it's unisex but could lean feminine and layers very will. This is not a safe blind buy if you've never smelled a rice scent but it's definitely a beautiful unique scent.
This is such a beautiful rice fragrance. Do not let the rice note scare you away. Especially if you enjoy a beautiful orris perfume. In the opening you get the realistic cooked rice note with floral. It’s not too savory and definitely not a dry starchy rice. It’s perfect. The middle is where the beauty comes out for the orris lover. You can sense that sweet orris peaking through and meshing with the other notes perfectly. The dry down is the sweet orris and slight musk. It’s really a beautiful scent and though I have not been able to get my hands on the OG. I’ve heard that it’s not a beast. This one has more power than a skin scent. Even brand new, it’s a one spray at home, maybe 3 for leaving the house. With med projection. It’s perfect tbh.

i am not used to rice fragrances, so, i took a week to let this one grow on me. after a week, i understand it & love it more than when i initially got it. it is very clean smelling. i like how simple it is & how it can easily be layered with anything. people say it’s identical to the og, as well.
Not my typical type of event as I'm more into sweet gourmands. This is a very nice and clean, your skin but better scent. I can smell the jasmine rice and something a little dewy.
There’s a Fragrantica review that compares the first spray of the OG to walking by a smoker wearing perfume. This is accurate, but underneath the quickly dissipating toasty blast is a really clean beautiful creamy white floral musk that is both comforting and edgy. It’s dry down is swan silk camay soap. So sexy.

Lol I tried to post a video with this review but it wouldn't let me? 🤷 Anyhoo this one is probably my favorite release from last year. I had a decant of the OG that I had babied so I wouldn't run out but this is identical to the OG so... lol I've already went through my 1st bottle and had to get a back up! I find this scent to be very similar to the original Glossier You... it's very creamy and comforting. The orris and the jasmine are so beautiful...I just can't praise it enough! 🍚🍚 🍼🍼👶👶
