A beautiful spicy/resiny start…the resins are thick and a subtle woody and Smokey mid kick up. This is a great fragrance. Very complex and interesting.

sweet Buttery, Amber, goodness This is so well done I cannot separate the notes to describe what I am smelling. I get the vanilla for sure and the guaiac wood, i get the warmth of the amber, benzoin and labdanum combination. This has a feel of an old church with old historic furniture..like if they could talk they would tell you stories of old. This is mature and serious, wise almost..... so good though.. inviting and welcoming..like telling stories around a fire It is 95-98% close to the original Material (which i have a sample of)..this is really really really nice.
Quit sleeping on this! This is just a brilliant, powerful, confident scent, but it is also a crowd pleaser in many situations. I would certainly wear this on a night out or to an interview. It has a strong opening, but the dry down and longevity are also phenomenal. I do not know why more people are not talking about this.
