Inspiration: Platinum Egoiste (1993 formulation) by Chanel .

One’s ego is shaped and defined by his/her success, determination, personal beliefs, accomplishments, and confidence. The ego and self-pride disintegrates when one loses sight of all that he/she has achieved in a lifetime. The perfume equivalent of this is the reformulation that has happened to Chanel’s Platinum Egoiste year after year. Almost three decades later, we find that this ego has tarnished and the confidence has waned. Luckily, bottles of the vintage formulation may still be accessed by those with enough money to spend, and our specialty is resurrecting these blasts from the past. #YOUNGEGO brings us back to the glory days of perfumes when a couple of sprays lasted the whole day. The memories of handsome lavender, classy rosemary, and exuberant petitgrain are abundant once more, and this time, there’s no fear of anything getting in the way of our confidence. Masculine oakmoss and a fougere-driven geranium close off the composition for an experience that will remind us of everything that is beautiful about the perfume world.
